Maëva Borzakian
Influenced mainly by soul and funk from the 80s and by Chaka Kahn, Prince and Stevie Wonder, Maeva Borzakian grew up in Paris in a jazz musicians’ family.
But it was through theatre at the age of 8 that she began her artistic journey.
Specialized in soul music, she distils her powerful and suave voice on the French and international stage
For 20 years now, She has in her career made several tours and gigs in Europe, Asia and even sung in the USA.
After several collaborations with the Wescoaster Gaël Benyamin Aka Geyster with whom she composes and writes her 1st EP ‘Day by Day’ she joined 2 years ago the legendary jazz funk group Cortex & Alain Mion with whom she continues to sing around the world.
She also recently appeared on the finnish artist composer and arranger Tomi Malm’s album « coming home » (released in October 2020) with huge singers and musicians of the music industry as Vinnie Colaiuta or Steve Lukather.
Maëva is the kind of artist with a true uniqueness and a real talented soul as the music she sings.
