‘Sound of Jack’ was born from the encounter of Corinne Rocca, singer-songwriter, raised in the sound of Soul and Latin-Jazz and David Bertaud pianist-arranger infused with Deep-House and Soul Music. Corinne and David share the groovy sounds, the latin inspirations and voices full of sun and energy. The rest is a matter of magic, when one’s inspiration awakens the talent of the other and vice versa. They composed together the album ‘Together’ enriched with some covers arranged in their own way : a rhythmic and melodic complicity which colors their unique ‘Sound of Jack’, a hint to Ray Charles and his marvelous title ‘Hit the road Jack’, as dynamic as they are.
